Restricting carbs and restricting fat are the two sides of the eternal struggle for fat loss diet dominance. Each side has their theories about why their champion is the best for losing weight, but the two macro-nutrient compositions have never been tested thoroughly in a controlled scientific setting until now.

In this video, we look at a study conducted my physicist turned metabolism researcher Kevin Hall, which locked 19 obese men and women up and rigorously tracked their exercise and food intake on both low fat and low carb diets.
