Give a try to this succulent fish curry recipe and let us know how it turned out for you.#FishCurry #FishSalan #SooperChef #ShanFoodsIngredients for fish marination: Fish (rohu) 1 kg Salt ½ tsp or to taste Turmeric 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1 ½ tbspOil 1/2 cup Ingredients for curry: Oil 1/2 cup Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Green chilies (sliced) 1/4 cup Onion (sliced) 1 cup Bay leaves 2 Tomato puree 1 cupYogurt 1/2 cup Red chili powder 1 tsp Cumin powder 1/2 tspRed chili flakes 1/2 tsp Coriander powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Fenugreek (dried) 1 tsp Nigella seeds 1 tsp Salt ½ tsp to taste Coriander (chopped) for garnish Water as required Directions: In a bowl place fish fillets, add salt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and rub it evenly on each side of the fish and marinate for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry marinated fish each side for 2 to 3 minutes on medium low flame and take it out. Set aside. For gravy in a pan heat oil, add curry leaves, cumin seeds and sauté for a minute. Then add onion and cook until onion is light brown in color. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for two minutes. Then add tomato puree and cook until oil appears. Then add green chilies, red chili powder, chili flakes, salt, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add yogurt, water and let it cook for 5 more minutes. Lastly add nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds and cook for 2 minutes. Now add fried fish in your gravy, mix it gently and cover the lid. Let it simmer on low flame for 5 minutes. Dish out and garnish it with coriander and green chilies. Your tasty fish curry is ready to serve. Enjoy.
