Round shaped dhoklis made using green gram flour, boiled and tossed in spices.MAG NI DHOKLIIngredients½ cup green gram flour (mag/moong)½ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon coriander-cumin powderSalt to taste2 tablespoons oil + for greasing½ tablespoon mustard seeds Method1. Mix together green gram flour, ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, ½ teaspoon chilli powder, ½ teaspoon coriander-cumin powder and salt in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon oil and water as required and knead into a soft dough. 2. Heat sufficient water in a non-stick pan and bring to a boil. 3. Grease your palms with little oil. Divide the prepared dough into equal portions and shape into dhoklis. 4. Add the prepared dhoklis to the boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. 5. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in another non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and once they begin to splutter, add remaining turmeric powder, remaining coriander-cumin powder, remaining chilli powder and dhoklis.
