Fried Chicken Biryani

Ingredients for Fried Chicken:
Chicken 1 kg
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Orange food color 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Oil (for frying) as required

Ingredients for Biryani Masala:
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion (sliced) 2 cups
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Tomatoes (Sliced) 3 cups
Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Fried onion 1 cup
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Water 1/4 cup + 1/2 cup
Salt 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Tamarind 2 tbsp
Green cardamom 2
Black cardamom 2
Star anise 1
Cloves 5-6
Black peppercorns 10-12
Cinnamon stick 1
Mint leaves 1/4 cup
Green coriander 1/4 cup
Ginger julienne 1/4 cup
Lemon sliced 4-5
Green chilies (sliced) as requiried

Ingredients for Assembling:
Fried chicken
Boiled rice 4 cups
Biryani masala
Mint leaves as required
Green chilies (sliced) as required
Lemon slices as required
Tomato slices as required
Ginger (julienne) as require
Green coriander as required
Fried onion as required

Directions for Fried Chicken Preparation:
1. In a bowl add chicken, turmeric powder, salt, red chili flakes, orange food color, lemon juice, corn flour, oil and mix it well. Marinate the chicken for 25-30 mins.
2. In a pot heat oil and fry the marinated chicken for 6-7 mins or until fully done. set aside.
Directions for Biryani Masala Preparation:
3. In a pot heat oil and add onion. Cook until starts to turn brown. Add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick star anise and cook for a min.
4. Add yogurt and cook for a min. Now add salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder, red chili flakes, coriander powder and mix it well
5. Add 1/4 cup of water, tomatoes, salt and mix it well.
6. Add 1/2 cup of water ad cover and cook for 5 mins.
7. Now add tamarind and cook for 1-2 mins. Add mint leaves, green coriander, ginger, lemon slices, green chilies and cook for a min. Your Biryani Masala is ready.
Directions for Assembling:
8. In another pot add layers of biryani masala, boiled rice, tomato slices, lemon slices, green coriander, mint leaves, fried onion, ginger, green chilies, fried chicken.
9. Now cover and steam over low flame for 10-12 mins.
10. Your Fried Chicken Rice is ready. Serve and enjoy.
