Make good use of the fresh mangoes this season and make this delicious sheera for your loved ones.MANGO SHEERAIngredients1 medium ripe mango, peeled and chopped1 cup semolina (suji/rawa)2-3 tablespoons ghee + for drizzlingSalt to taste 1 cup milkLarge pinch saffron + for garnishing 1 cup sugar½ teaspoon green cardamom powder10-12 pistachios, blanchedBlanched pistachio slivers for garnishing Method1. Dry roast semolina for 2-3 minutes. 2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add roasted semolina and mix. Add mango, salt, mix and cook for a minute. 3. Add milk and sit to mix. Add saffron, cover and cook till the moisture dries. 4. Add sugar, cardamom powder and pistachios, mix well, cover and cook till the mixture reaches a halwa consistency. 5. Drizzle some ghee, mix well, cover and let it get heated through. 6. Garnish with some saffron and pistachio slivers and serve.
