This beautiful pink coloured lassi is savoury and can beat the regular lassi for sure!MASALA BEETROOT LASSIIngredients2 medium beetroots3 cups yogurt8-10 ice cubes2-4 fresh mint leavesSalt to taste½ tsp Tata Sampann Chilli Powder½ tsp roasted cumin powder + as requiredA pinch of castor sugar + as required1 lemon wedgeMethod1. Preheat the oven at 180˚C. Wrap the beetroots in aluminium foil, place in preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool completely.2. Peel the beetroots and roughly chop them.3. Transfer in a blender jar. Add yogurt, ice cubes, mint leaves, salt, Tata Sampann Chilli Powder, roasted cumin powder, castor sugar and blend well.4. Spread castor sugar and roasted cumin powder and a pinch of salt on a plate.5. Rub the lemon wedge on the rim of the serving glasses and roll in the prepared spice mix.6.
