Masala French Toast | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A twist to the regular French Toast with the addition of indian masalas.

MASALA FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients

4 bread slices
3 eggs
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
ΒΌ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Oil for deep-frying
Tomato ketchup for serving

Method

1. Break eggs in a bowl and add chaat masala, black pepper powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Whisk well.
2. Heat sufficient oil to deep-fry.
3. Slice the bread into triangles, dip into the prepared egg batter and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
