Friends, today I am sharing my Masala Khichdi and Chunky Chutney Recipe, this is a comfort food of mine, and I am sure you'd love our family way of making this!

Ingredients for Khichdi and Chutney:
Basmati rice - 1 cup
Split moong gram - 1/2 cup
Potato, cauliflower, peas and carrot - 1 1/2 cups in total
Water - 4 1/2 cups
Ghee - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
For tadka
Ghee - 2-3 tbsp
Jeera - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Fpr second tadka
Ghee - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli - 1
Red chilli powder - a pinch
Coriander leaves - for sprinkle

For chutney
Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Mint leaves - handful
Chilli - 2
Salt - to taste
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
