1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin seeds, jeera
1 teaspoon red chili flake
1/8 teaspoon asafetida, hing
2 teaspoons ginger finely grated
1/4 cup mint finely chopped
3 tablespoons oil, canola oil or vegetable oil
1/2 cup lukewarm water

We also need
1/4 cup whole wheat flour for rolling the paratha
3 tablespoons oil for cooking
