Masala Pav recreates the magic of pav bhaji in a more convenient format.MASALA PAVIngredients 1 medium onion, finely chopped1 medium tomato, finely chopped4 pavs2 teaspoons pav bhaji masala 1 tablespoon butter + as required1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 medium green capsicum, finely choppedSalt to taste 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnishingJuice of ½ lemon Chopped onion for serving Lemon slices for serving Method1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter on a non-stick tawa. Add onion and tomato, mash and cook for 1 minute. 2. Add ginger-garlic paste and chilli powder, mash and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add capsicum, mash and cook for 1 minute. 3. Add pav bhaji masala and salt, mash and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and lemon juice and mash well. 4. Slit the pavs with one side intact, place on top of onion-tomato mixture with cut side down. 5. Apply some butter on top of pavs, fold the pavs with onion-tomato mixture stuffed and toast the buns from both sides till golden brown, leaving butter on the sides. 6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with some onion and lemon slices.
