Popular street drink specially during summers.

MASALA SODA

Ingredients

2 teaspoons chaat masala
Black salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Drinking soda for topping
¾ cup sugar syrup
4 teaspoons lemon juice
Chopped fresh mint leaves for garnishing

Method

1. Heat a non-stick pan. Add sugar and sufficient water, stir and boil till sugar melts. Remove from heat.
2. In individual glasses, add black salt, crushed peppercorns, ½ teaspoon chaat masala, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and some sugar syrup and stir well.
3. Top with some soda, garnish with mint leaves and add some ice cubes. Serve chilled!
