Ingredients

2 tbsp Oil
4 Peppercorns
2 Cloves
1 inch Cinnamon Stick
1 Bay Leaf
1 tbsp Cumin Powder
1 tbsp Tata Sampann Coriander Powder
1 tsp Kasturi Methi
1 sliced Onion
1 cup Basmati Rice
4 small Chilles
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1/2 cup Tata Sampann Kali Masoor ( Soaked for 3 to 4 hr)
Masoor Dal (Soaked for 3 to 4hrs)
Salt to taste
2 cup of water

Method

- Heat a pan, add oil, Peppercorns, Cloves, Cinnamon Stick, Bay Leaf, onion and mix it well.
- Add green chilli and let it saute for few second, then add ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder and again saute it for few seconds.
- Now add soaked Kali Masoor and mix it well then add basmati rice to it.
- Add Kasturi Methi, salt and mix it well.
- Now add water then cover it with a lid and let it cook till the Rice and dal gets cooked.
- Serve it hot with raita and papad.
