Download our App - http://bit.ly/DownloadIndiaFoodNetworkAppIngredients2 tbsp Oil4 Peppercorns2 Cloves1 inch Cinnamon Stick1 Bay Leaf1 tbsp Cumin Powder1 tbsp Tata Sampann Coriander Powder1 tsp Kasturi Methi1 sliced Onion1 cup Basmati Rice4 small Chilles1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste1/2 cup Tata Sampann Kali Masoor ( Soaked for 3 to 4 hr)Masoor Dal (Soaked for 3 to 4hrs)Salt to taste2 cup of waterMethod- Heat a pan, add oil, Peppercorns, Cloves, Cinnamon Stick, Bay Leaf, onion and mix it well.- Add green chilli and let it saute for few second, then add ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder and again saute it for few seconds.- Now add soaked Kali Masoor and mix it well then add basmati rice to it.- Add Kasturi Methi, salt and mix it well.- Now add water then cover it with a lid and let it cook till the Rice and dal gets cooked.- Serve it hot with raita and papad.
