Do give it a try !MASOOR TIKKIIngredients1 cup whole red lentils (masoor dal), soaked1 medium onion, sliced1 tablespoon chopped garlic1 teaspoon finely chopped gingerSalt to taste1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon garam masala powder¾ cup dried breadcrumbs3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leavesA pinch chaat masala powderGhee for shallow-frying Method1. Cook together red lentils, onion, garlic, ginger, salt, chilli powder and garam masala powder in sufficient water till soft. Transfer in a bowl and mash.2. Add breadcrumbs, coriander leaves and chaat masala powder and mix well. 3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into tikkis. 4. Heat some ghee on a non-stick tawa. Place tikkis on it and shallow-fry till golden brown from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper. 5. Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
