INGREDIENTS:

FOR KACHORI DOUGH -
All-purpose flour (Maida) 250gms/2cups
Ghee 75gms/5tbsp
Oil 75gms/5tbsp
Water as required
Oil for deep frying

FOR KACHORI FILLING -
Dried Dates, deseeded (chuare) ½ cup
Cashew Nuts, toasted ¼ cup
Almonds, toasted ¼ cup
Pista, toasted ¼ cup
Pumpkin Seeds, toasted ¼ cup
Melon seeds(Magaz), toasted ¼ cup
Khoya (grated) 1cup
Black cardamom powder ½ tsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Clove powder ½ tsp
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Dry ginger powder (saunth) ½ tsp
Jaipal powder (nutmeg) ¼ tsp
Sugar (powdered) ¼ cup

FOR SUGAR SYRUP -
Sugar 1 cup
Water 1 cup
Saffron (Optional) a pinch

GARNISH -
Chopped nuts handful
