Meadowsweet

Meadowsweet is always nice to find on a hike. While it is edible, meadowsweet (Spiraea alba) is better known as a constituent in many herbal remedies (the flower contains salicylic acid, a chemical that belongs to the same class of drugs as aspirin). For more info see the links below.
