In a bowl, add Kashmiri red chilli powder, crushed black peppercorns, turmeric powder, salt to taste, coarsely crushed garlic clove, and add a little water to make a paste of coating consistency.2. Apply the marination on the fish pieces on both sides and keep aside for 10 – 15 minutes.3. Heat oil in a non-stick tawa, let it heat up well. Place the marinated fish pieces on it, cover and cook 1-2 minutes on low flame.4. Increase the flame and let it cook till the base turns golden brown. Flip the fish pieces, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame.5. Increase the flame and remove the lid. Let it cook for 1 minute or till the base turns golden brown. Take them off the heat.6.
