MEETHE SEVIYANIngredients1½ cups vermicelli (seviyan), roasted⅓ cup sugar½ cup milk2 tablespoons ghee5-6 cashewnuts, halved7-8 almonds, sliced10-12 pistachios, sliced½ teaspoon green cardamom powderA pinch saffron strands + for garnishing Method1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cashewnuts, almonds and pistachios and sauté for 3-4 minutes.2. Add vermicelli, stir and sauté for 5 minutes. Add milk, cardamom powder and a pinch saffron. Mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes. 3. Add sugar and sprinkle some water, stir to mix, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.4. Garnish with saffron and serve warm.
