IngredientsFor Methi Puri1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)1/2 cup finely chopped fenugreek (methi)1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)1/2 tsp chilli powder1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)salt to taste2 tsp oiloil for deep-fryingMethodFor methi puri1. To make methi puri, combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a stiff dough using approx 6 tbsp of water.2. Divide the dough into 35 equal portions.3. Roll each portion into a circle of about 75 mm. (3") diameter and prick them using a fork at regular intervals.4. Repeat steps to make remaining 34 puris.5. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry, a few puris at a time, on a medium flame till they are crisp and turns golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.6.
