This khichdi is as delicious as it looks and nutritious tooMOONG MATAR KI KHICHDIIngredients¾ cup whole green gram (sabut moong), soaked¾ cup shelled green peas1½ cups rice, soaked3 tbsps pure ghee½ tsp cumin seeds1 inch cinnamon10-12 black peppercorns10-12 cloves¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)Salt to taste2 green chillies, chopped1 inch ginger5-6 garlic clovesMethod1. Heat a rice cooker on cook mode. Heat 3 tbsps ghee in it. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, black peppercorns, cloves, carom seeds and mix and saute till fragrant.2. Add green grams, salt and green chillies. Cover and cook.3. Roughly chop together ginger, garlic and green peas in a chopper and add to the cooker. 4. Drain and add rice and mix.
