Learn how to make delicious Moong Mooshur Daal in Bengali.MOONG MOOSHUR DAALIngredients¼ cup split, skinless yellow moong dal, washed¼ cup split, skinless pink masoor dal, washed2 medium onions, peeled4-5 garlic cloves2 tsps oil½ tsp cumin seeds1 medium tomato½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste½ tsp sugar2 green chilliesFreshly chopped coriander for garnishMethod1. Chop the onions and set aside.2. Chop the garlic cloves and set aside.3. Heatoil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds and sauté on low heat till it crackles. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for a minute. Add chopped onions and sautéon medium heat till golden brown in colour.4. Chop the tomato and set aside.5. Add tomato in pressure cooker and sauté on low heat till it turns pulpy. Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar in pan. Break green chillies and add in the pan.Sauté for 2-3 minutes.6. Add moong dal and masoor dal in pressure cooker. Sauté on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and sufficient water. Mix well. Pressure cook on medium heattill 2-3 whistles are given.7.
