Mozzarella Sticks | Monsoon Magic | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A cheesy, yummy, kiddy favourite recipe is loaded with deliciousness that will make you want more, instantly.

MOZZARELLA STICKS

Ingredients

250 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into thick fingers
½ cup refined flour (maida)
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
½ cup crushed cornflakes
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon fresh mixed herbs
2 eggs
Oil for deep-frying

Method

1. Mix together refined flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and crushed peppercorns on a plate.
2. Mix together cornflakes, panko breadcrumbs, salt, crushed peppercorns and fresh mixed herbs on another plate.
3. Break eggs in a bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and beat well.
4. Coat mozzarella fingers in flour mixture, dip in beaten egg mixture and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Put the prepared mozzarella fingers and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
