Mug Dhokla | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Delicious Dhokla cooked in a mug with flavourful tempering.
MUG DHOKLA

Ingredient
1 cup gram flour (besan)
1 cup yogurt
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon ginger green chilli paste
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon oil
½ teaspoon fruit salt
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
Green chilli, chopped
1 inch ginger, chopped
½ teaspoon hing
½ teaspoon sugar
2 dried red chilli, sliced diagonally
8- 10 curry leaves

Method

1. Mix together gram flour, yogurt, turmeric, salt, sugar, ginger garlic green paste, oil and mix well, add little water make into smooth batter.
2. Add fruits salt and mix well. Pour batter in a cup and microwave on high heat for 2½ minutes.
3. For tempering, heat oil in non-stick pan add mustard seed, curry leaves, red chilli , ginger, asafetida and sauté few minutes add sugar and little water and mix well.
4. Remove the mug from the microwave
5. Garnish with prepare tadka on top and serve.
