A classic recipe from the Gujarati cuisine, this moong curry has a punch of health and flavour.MUG NU GUGRI Ingredients½ cup wheat, soaked and pressure cooked1 cup Tata Sampann Green Moong1 tbsp oil1 tsp mustard seeds½ tsp asafoetida (hing)½ tsp turmeric powder1½ tsps red chilli powderSalt to taste1 tsp coriander-cumin powderMethod1. In a large bowl, add Tata Sampann Green Moong and sufficient water. Wash it 2-3 times and pressure cook it till 2-3 whistles are released. Allow the pressure to be released completely.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida and ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder and 2 cups water. Mix well.3. Add salt, coriander-cumin powder, remaining turmeric powder, remaining red chilli powder.4. Add cooked wheat and add the cooked moong. Mix well, cover and cook for 5-10 minutes.
