MULLED WINEIngredients1 lemon1 orange375ml red wine12-15 black peppercorns3-4 cloves1 star anise1 inch cinnamon stickA small piece of nutmeg2 tbsps brown sugarMethod1. Peel the lemon and thickly slice the orange. 2. Heat the wine in a non-stick pan. Add black peppercorns, cloves, star anise, cinnamon stick, orange slices, lemon slices, grate the nutmeg into it and stir in the brown sugar. Cook till the mixture comes to a boil and continue to cook for 4-5 minutes. 3. Strain the drink into individual serving glasses and serve warm.
