Murgh Zafrani Do Pyaza- The rich flavours and aromatic spices makes this recipe extra flavourful and delicious.Try it out!MURGH ZAFRANI DO PYAZAIngredients750 grams chicken, cut into 2 inch piecesA large pinch of saffron2 medium onions, sliced1 large onion, quartered1 tbsp poppy seeds1 tbsp chironji20-25 almonds3 tbsps oil1 tbsp garlic paste1 tbsp ginger paste2 tsps red chilli powder½ tsp turmeric powder½ tsp garam masala powderSalt to taste½ cup yogurt1½ cups chicken stockFreshly chopped coriander for garnishOnion rings to serveLemon wedge to serveParanthe to serveMethod 1. In a blender jar, add poppy seeds, chironji, almonds and blend to a fine powder. Set aside.2. Heat oil in a non-stick deep pan, add onion and sauté till golden brown. Add garlic paste, ginger paste and sauté well. Cook for 1 minute.3. Add chicken and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes on high heat. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and add the prepared ground powder.4. Add salt and quartered onion, mix well and add saffron, yogurt and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes.5. Add stock and mix well. Cover and cook till the chicken is cooked completely.6. Garnish with chopped coriander.
