Oats lassi & Oats Uttapam

Ingredients quantity
Oats lassi Oats ½ cup
Water as required
Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
Mint leaves few
sprigs Ginger 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped 2 nos
Black salt 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chaat masala ½ tsp
Sattu atta 1 ½ tbsp
Lemon juice 1 nos
Ice cubes 6-8 nos


Oats uttappam

Oats residue Remaining Residue
Oats water as required
Sattu atta 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Onion 1 nos
Tomato 1 nos
Ginger 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped 1 tsp
Lemon juice ½ nos
Oil For greasing pan

Method : Oats lassi
1. In a bowl , take oats , add water and allow it to soak for 30 mins .
2. Once soaked ,using strainer strain it and keep the water aside in a bowl.
3. In a blender add strained oats , coriander leaves , mint leaves ,ginger , black salt ,salt, chaat masala ,sattu atta, water and blend it nicely .
4. Transfer the mixture in a bowl using strainer and keep the residue into the oats water .
5. Into the blended mixture add lemon juice , ice cubes , give a stir and keep it aside . Oats uttapam
6. Into the oats residue mixture add sattu atta ,give a stir until no lumps are left .
7. Now add salt , turmeric powder , onion , tomato, green chilli , ginger andmix it well .
8. Add lemon juice give a stir .
9. Heat a pan , add oil , pour the uttapam mixture over pan .
10. Allow it to cook until excess moisture goes away , cover with a lid .
11. Once it almost cooke , flip it and cook it from another side .
12. Meanwhile transfer the oats lassi into the glass garnish with mint sprig 13. Cut the uttapam into four equal part .
14. Transfer it into the serving plate .
15. Oats lassi and oats uttapam ready to serve .
