Oats Idli | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Most of us have Oats daily and we all know its health value. With this Oats idly you can now have a well rounded breakfast that will definitely kill your hunger pangs until lunchtime.

OATS IDLI

Ingredients

2 cups oats, powdered
1 cup semolina
½ teaspoon baking powder
Salt to taste
½ inch ginger, finely chopped
¼ cup green capsicum, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
¼ cup beans, chopped
¼ cup carrot, finely chopped
1 cup curd
Oil for greasing
Coconut chutney


Method

1. Add oats, semolina, baking powder, salt, ginger, capsicum, green chilli, beans, carrot and curd in a bowl, whisk together. Add some water and whisk to form a lump-free batter.
2. Grease a mini idli mould, pour the batter to the mould and steam it in a steamer for 8-9 minutes.
3. Demould the idli once steamed and serve warm with coconut chutney.
