What a Christmas Eve!! (Full video on Instagram http://www.instagram.com/rawfoodromance) This was so much fun. We made (all raw of course!) Savory Mushroom Meatballs with a Cranberry Sage Tomato Sauce, Sweet Mustard Brussels & Carrots with Pecans, Cruciferous Caesar Salad, Fennel Apple Pomegranate Slaw with a Pomegranate Maple Cider Dressing, Pesto Chili Stuffed Mushrooms, Spinach Dip & Veg Sticks and Candied & Spiced Butternut Yam Mash for our feast! We had our dear friends @rawveganginger and @growingyourgreens over to celebrate our friendship together and eat great food! John brought a delicious Christmas mint juice and a beautiful salad loaded with a variety of greens that he freshly picked from his garden and a sugar cane macadamia dressing oh my! Jen helped me make all the goodies and made her date and sprouted oat balls which are just heavenly! After dinner we took a walk down Fremont Street here in Vegas and came back to play cards until the wee hours munching on Johns raw chocolate covered freeze dried durian - which is always a hit!Loved the connection, laughter and friendship. This is my most favorite time of year and I like to go all out! We have so many leftovers today and sent John home with 3 wraps and loads of food. Today we will make wraps again filled with leftover Christmas yums. Wishing you all a beautiful holiday if you celebrate as well and to everyone we send our love and hugs regardless.
