Chunks of paneer coated in a cornmeal batter and fried makes for a perfect starter on a stick for a party.PANEER CORN DOGIngredients500 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into 4 inch thick strips1 cup corn meal (makai ka atta)3 tbsps refined flour (maida)¼ tsp paprikaA pinch of baking soda¼ tsp baking powderSalt to taste1½ cups buttermilkMustard sauce to serveTomato ketchup to serveMethod1. In a jar, add corn meal, refined flour, paprika, baking soda, baking powder, salt and mix well.2. Add buttermilk and mix well to form a thick batter. Set aside.3. Insert a satay stick in the center of each paneer piece and set aside.4. Heat sufficient oil in a wok, dip each paneer piece into the prepared batter and drop it into the hot oil. Deep fry till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.5.
