Paneer Frankie by Maithily | India Food Network

Maithily returns after a long hiatus with a recipe for a simple Paneer Frankie that you can make for your loved ones this Diwali. Check it out!

Ingredients:

1) 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups Yoghurt
2) 2 tbsp Sour Cream
3) 1 - 1 1/2 tsp Paneer Tikka/Tandoori Masala
4) 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
5) 1 tbsp Butter
6) 1 1/2 - 2 cups Cubed Paneer
7) Salt
8) 2 tbsp Oil

9) Sliced Onion
10) Coriander leaves
11) 1 tsp Chaat Masala
12) 1/2 Lime
13) Tortillas/Whole Wheat Roti
14) Olive Oil
Method:
1. Mix yoghurt, sour cream, cream, paneer tikka or tandoori masala, red chilli flakes, salt and butter in a bowl for the marinate.
2. Coat the paneer well in the marinate and let it rest about 10-15 minutes.
3. In a pan heat oil and sauté the marinated paneer for 5-6 minutes.
4. For onion slaw, mix onions, fresh coriander, chat masala and lime juice in a bowl.
5. Assemble the frankie by placing the paneer on tortillas or whole wheat rotis and place some slaw on top of the paneer.
6. Now with the help of olive oil close the frankie and roast on hot tawa.
