Paneer Spring Roll Chef Harpal Singh

Paneer spring rolls are a popular and delicious snack or appetizer in Indian cuisine. They are made by filling thin pastry sheets or spring roll wrappers with a mixture of paneer and various vegetables, and then deep-frying or baking them until they are crispy and golden brown.

Ingredient quantity
Refined flour 1 cup
Corn starch cup
Oil 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Water as required
Paneer 250 gram
Oil 1 tbsp
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Green Chilli chopped 2 no
Onion sliced 1 no
Capsicum julienne 1 no
Carrot grated 1 no
Cabbage julienne no
Salt to taste
Red chili sauce 2 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Green chili sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Corn starch for spread
Oil for greasing
Oil for fry
Spring onion chopped for garnish
Method
1. Take a mixing bowl and add refined flour, corn flour, oil, salt, and water. Beat it to activate gluten.
2. Cut the paneer into thin slices.
3. Take kadai on high flame. Add oil, ginger, garlic, green chilli and saute for a minute.
4. Now add sliced onion, capsicum julienne, grated carrot, chopped cabbage and mix well.
5. Now add salt, red chili sauce, soya sauce, green chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar and mix well properly.
6. Add paneer and fry until all the water dries up.
7. Pour vegetable filling over strainer and Spread it evenly.
8. Take a plate and spread the corn starch on it.
9. Take a pan on medium heat and grease the pan with oil.
10. Now spread the batter on it and cook for a minute.
11. Side out the spring roll sheet on dusted chopping board.
12. Take a spring roll sheet and spread paneer filling.
13. Apply batter on all side and roll it & closed it tightly.
14. Half fry the prepared spring roll in oil on low flame.
15. Reheat the oil and then deep fry it.
16. Take out in serving plate and garnish with spring onion.
