Paneer Tikka Pulao Chef Harpal Singh X Parliament

Paneer tikka pulao is a delicious and flavorful Indian rice dish that combines the flavors of paneer tikka with rice. It's a popular vegetarian option and a fusion of two classic Indian dishes: paneer tikka and pulao.

Ingredient Quantity
For Marination:
Paneer cut into cube size 500 gm.
Curd Cup
Kashmiri Red Chilli powder 1 Tsp
Coriander powder 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder Tsp
Garam masala powder Tsp
Kasoori methi Tsp
Ginger and garlic paste 1 Tbsp
Mustard oil 2 Tbsp
Salt To taste
Tomato cube (without seed) 2 No.
Onion cube 2 No.
Green Capsicum cubes 2 No.
For Pulao:
Parliament - Gold Jumbo Basmati Rice 400 gm.
Ghee 2 Tbsp
Bay leaf 2 No.
Black cardamom 1 No.
Star anise 1 No.
Cinnamon stick inch
Green cardamom 4 No.
Black peppercorn 1 Tsp
Cloves 4-5 No.
Cumin seeds 1 Tsp
Onion Chopped 1 No.
Ginger julienne inch
Green chilli slit 3 no.
Salt to taste

Method:-
1. Take mixing bowl, add curd, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, kasoori methi, ginger garlic paste, salt and mustard oil and mix well.
2. Add tomato, onion and green capsicum cubes and mix well.
3. Add Paneer cubes and mix well.
4. Preheat the oven to 220C for 5-6 min.
5. Place the marinated paneer in baking tray and bake it for 15 min.
For Pulao:
1. Wash the Parliament - Gold Jumbo Basmati Rice under running water until the water runs clear and then soak for 15-20 min.
2. Take pressure cooker, add Ghee, bay leaf, black cardamom, star anise, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black peppercorn, cloves and cumin seeds, mix well and saut for 1 min.
3. Add chopped onion and mix well.
4. Add ginger julienne and green chilli slit, mix well and saut for 2 min.
5. Add soaked rice and salt.
6. Add water in marination bowl, mix well and add to the cooker and mix well.
7. Remove the paneer Tikka from the oven and add to the cooker and mix well.
8. Keep aside some paneer Tikka for garnish.
9. Close the lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
10. After 3 whistle switch off the flame and keep it aside for some time.
11. Mean while Thread on to satay sticks in this manner: Grilled Paneer cubes, capsicum, tomato, onion, Repeat the order once more and end with a cottage cheese cube
12. Remove in plate and keep it aside.
13. Now open the pressure cooker, Remove the pulao on serving plate, garnish with prepared Paneer Tikka Skewer and chopped coriander on top and serve hot.
