All the ingredients of the delicious popular pav bhaji assembled and shaped into burger patty and shallow fried, sandwiched between burger buns to make this unique innovation recipe.PAV BHAJI BURGER Ingredients2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed3 tablespoons blanched and crushed green peas1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic 2 tbsps finely chopped green capsicum1 medium tomato, finely chopped1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 tablespoons pav bhaji masala 4 burger buns1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste1 tablespoon red chilli paste½ teaspoon red chilli powder 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander leavesSalt to taste ½ cup dried breadcrumbs + for coating Refined flour (maida) slurry Oil for deep-frying Butter as required Few lettuce leaves, torn1 medium onion, cut into rings1 small tomato, sliced Method1. Mix together potatoes, green peas, garlic, capsicum, tomatoes, onions, ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, coriander leaves and salt in a bowl. Add breadcrumbs and mix well. 2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties. Dip them in the slurry and coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat the process. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry patties till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. 4. Halve burger buns horizontally and apply some butter on each halve. Place some lettuce leaves on 4 base halves, top with a patty, some more lettuce leaves, some onion rings and a tomato slice. Cover with remaining halves and secure with a toothpick. 5.
