Peanut Chaat | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Boiled peanuts tossed with chopped onion tomatoes with chatpata spice mix.

PEANUT CHAAT

Ingredients

1½ cups raw peanuts
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons finely chopped onions
3 tablespoons finely chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
¾ teaspoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon roasted cumin (jeera) powder
1-2 green chillies, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Black salt to taste
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander leaves

Method

1. Pressure cook peanuts, turmeric powder and salt in sufficient water till the pressure is released for 3 times. Strain and transfer peanuts in a bowl.
2. Add onions, tomatoes, chilli powder, cumin powder, green chillies, lemon juice and black salt and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
3. Serve immediately.
