Ingredients for Peanut Mathri and Namak Paare
- Refined Flour - 3 Cup (400 grams)
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Carom Seeds - 1 tsp
- Dry Fenugreek Leaves - 1 tbsp
- Red Chilli - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1.25 tsp
- Peanut - 1 Cup (150 grams)
- Green Chilli - 2 no
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Oil - 1/2 Cup (90 grams)

Directions

1. Wash peanuts well. Then grind peanuts, green chilli and ginger into a slightly coarse paste.
2. In a bowl add refined flour, cumin seeds (crushed), carom seeds (crushed), dry fenugreek leaves (crushed), red chilli, salt and oil. Mix well.
3. Then add peanut paste and mix well. Add little by little water and knead a hard dough. Then cover and keep it for 20 min.
4. After 20 min, mash the dough and cut it into 4 parts.
5. Pick one part and keep the rest covered. Round it and make a log.
6. Then break small balls. Pick one ball, round it, press it and roll it thick like normal mathri. Then cut it with a glass and prick it. Make all the same way and keep them on a plate.
7. Pick another piece, round it and roll it thick like a normal mathri.
8. Then cut strips from both the sides and make rectangular shaped namak pare. Put them on a plate.
9. Pick another piece, round it and roll it the same way. With a small bottle cap cut the cashew shaped pieces and put them on a plate.
10. Heat oil in a pan, it should be less hot and the flame should be low-medium. Put the first mathri in to fry. Let it fry for 2-3 min.
11. After 3 min, flip and fry till they turn golden brown. When turned, take them out.
12. Reduce the temp of oil and fry the other namak pare the same way.
13. All the namak pare will be fried. Serve and enjoy the taste.

Store

After cooling completely, store them in any airtight container. They can be stored for more than 2 months.
