Pears layered with fruit buns, topped with custard and bakedPEAR BREAD PUDDINGIngredients2 medium pears (gabbu gosha)2 fruit buns2 tbsps vanilla custard powder3 cups milk1 tbsp butter2 tbsps raisins (kishmish)6 tbsps sugarMethod1. Preheat oven to 180° C.2. Add vanilla custard powder to milk and mix till smooth. Pour into a deep non-stick pan and cook, stirring intermittently, till thick.3. Quarter pears, remove core and slice roughly.4. Heat butter in another non-stick pan, add pear slices and saute. Add raisins and 3 tbsps sugar and mix.5. Slice fruit buns and spread one layer in a baking dish. 6. Add 3 tbsps sugar to the custard and mix.7. Put the sautéed pears over the bun layer in the dish. Place another layer of fruit bun slices. Pour the custard over and tap the dish lightly so that custard drizzles to the bottom of the dish.8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.9.
