Made with kaddu or pumpkin this recipe is perfect way to get your kiddos to eat veggies.PETHE KA HALWAIngredients1 medium ash gourd (petha)3 cups milk cup sugar tsp green cardamom powder2 tbsps roughly chopped cashewnuts cup grated mawa/khoya2 tbsps ghee1 tsp rose water6-8 fried cashewnutsMethod1. Peel, quarter, remove seeds and grate the ash gourd and keep soaked in water.2. Heat a non-stick pan, squeeze the grated ash gourd to remove excess water and put into the pan. Add 2 cups milk and cook.3. Add sugar and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and mix. Add cup milk more and continue to cook till all the milk gets absorbed.4. Add cup milk more and cook stirring. Add mawa and mix.5. Add chopped cashewnuts and cook, stirring continuously. 6. Add 2 tbsps ghee and cook till thick. Add rose water and mix.7.
