Pirandai Thuvaiyal / Pirandai Thuvayal / Pirandai Thogayal / Adamant Creeper Chutney / பிரண்டை துவையல்

Ingredients:

Pirandai / Velde Grape / Adamant Creeper Stalks - Approx. 8 to 10 (30 cm each)
Coconut - 4 * 2" pieces
Red Chilly - 5 nos
Urad Dhal - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Till Seeds (Black / White) - 2 tsp
Tamarind - 1" piece
Ginger - 1.5 " piece

Roast all the above ingredients one by one in 1 tsp of oil.
Allow them to cool down.
Grind by adding salt to a chutney consistency.
Serve with idli, dosa or rice.

It is not necessary to season this preparation as we usually do for chutneys. This is a traditional thuvayal recipe, hence no seasoning.
