Red rice poha turns into this sweet and enticing kheer!POHA KHEERIngredients½ cup Red Rice Poha1½ tbsps ghee 10-12 cashew nuts1½ tbsps raisins 4 cups milk¾ cup sugar½ tsp green cardamom powder1 tsp rose waterA few dried rose petalsMethod1. Heat ghee in a non-stick deep pan, add cashew nuts and sauté for a few seconds. Add raisins and sauté till it puffs up. Take them out and set aside.2. In the same pan, add Tata Sampann Red Rice Poha and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Slightly crush the poha with the spoon to smaller pieces. 3. Add milk and mix well. Let the mixture come to a boil. Lower the heat and cook till the poha is cooked completely.4. Add sugar and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Cook till the sugar is dissolved.5. Add rose water, dried rose petals, a portion of the fried cashew nuts and raisins. Mix well and take it off the heat.6. Transfer into a serving bowl.
