Prawns cooked in a flavourful gravy along with potatoes is the perfect weekday lunch option for you.PRAWN AND POTATO RASSAIngredients15-20 medium prawns, deveined, cleaned and washed½ cup fresh scraped coconut1 green chilli8-10 garlic cloves1 small onion, cut into quarters2 tbsps freshly chopped coriander leaves½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder1 tsp red chilli powderSalt to taste1½ tbsps tamarind pulp2 tbsps oil2 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled1 medium onion, finely choppedCoriander sprig for garnishMethod1. In a blender jar, add coconut, green chilli, 4-5 garlic cloves, onion and chopped coriander. Add a little water and blend to a fine paste. Set aside.2. In a large bowl, add prawns, Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, red chilli powder, salt, tamarind pulp and the prepared paste. Mix well and set aside for 8-10 minutes.3. Heat oil in an earthen pot, crush remaining garlic cloves and add in the oil. Cook till it turns golden brown. Sautéing occasionally. 4. Meanwhile, cut potatoes boiled and peeled into 1 inch pieces and set aside.5. Add onion into the garlic mixture and sauté till it turns golden brown in colour.6. Add prawns and potatoes, sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add 1½ cups water and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Take it off the heat.7.
