Prawn Ghassi is an extremely flavourful and delicious delicacy. This malvani recipe is rich , creamy and delectable .PRAWN GHASSIIngredients 1 cup medium prawns, peeled and deveined2 tablespoon coriander seeds 1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 teaspoon mustard seeds10 dried red chillies 8 black peppercorns10 garlic cloves1 cup scraped coconut2 medium onions, sliced2 tablespoon coconut oil10-12 curry leaves2 medium tomatoes, choppedSalt to taste 1 cup thick coconut milk2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leavesMethod 1. Dry roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, red chillies, black peppercorns and coconut one by one and set aside to cool. Add the garlic and one fourth of the onions to the roasted items. Grind to a fine paste and set aside.2. Heat the coconut oil in a deep pan. Add the remaining onions and curry leaves. Saute till golden brown. Add the tomatoes and salt and sauté for two to three minutes or till tomatoes turn pulpy.3. Add the chicken pieces and sauté for two minutes. Add the ground paste and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till prawns are tender. 4. Add the coconut milk and adjust seasoning. Simmer for a minute.5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
