Ingredients for Chana Dal Laddu
- Chana Dal - 1 Cup, (200 grams) soaked
- Ghee - 1 Cup (1/2 Cup Left)
- Almond Flakes - 2 tbsp
- Cashews - 2 tbsp, chopped
- Pistachio Flakes - 2 tbsp
- Raisins - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom - 5-6 no, coarsely grounded
With
- Boora - 100 grams
And With
- Sugar - 1/2 Cup (100 grams)

Directions

1. Wash and soak chana dal for 2-2.5 hours. Then remove water and grind dal coarsely with only 2 tbsp of water.
2. After grinding dal, heat ghee in the pan. It should be medium-high hot and the flame should be medium-high.
3. Pick up some batter and put it in hot ghee to fry. Make small pakoras and let them fry for 2 min. Then flip and fry till golden brown.
4. When turned golden brown take them out and fry the rest the same way. Then break the pakoras and let them cool down completely.
5. When cooled down, grind them into small grains.
6. In a pan, pour some ghee and heat it lightly. Add almonds, cashew and pistachio to it. Stir and roast till a nice aroma comes.
7. When roasted, add grinde churma to it. Roast it while stirring continuously for 1-2 min at low flame.
8. After 2 min, add chopped raisins and grounded cardamom. Mix well and turn off the flame.
9. Then divide the mixture into 2 equal parts. Take out one part on a plate and keep the other part covered in the pan.
10. Add boora to the mixture on the plate and mix well. Add ghee if it feels too dry. Then bind laddus from it.
11. Take out the other half on another plate. Add sugar and water in the pan and cook till sugar dissolves and a wire forms.
12. When a wire forms, turn off the flame and add the mixture to it. Mix it well, cover and keep it for 5 min.
13. After 5 min, apply ghee on your hand and bind the laddus. Chana dal laddus will be ready.

Store
Laddus can be stored outside for 7 days and in the fridge for 15-20 days.
