This spicy dish will be perfect for a tasty evening snack on a rainy day!MIRCHI PAKORAIngredients4-8 Rajasthani green chillies, slit2 raw bananas, boiled 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander leaves ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder¼ teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)1 teaspoon red chilli powder¼ teaspoon garam masala powder¼ teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder½ teaspoon coriander powder½ teaspoon fennel seed (saunf) powderA pinch of asafoetida (hing)Salt to tasteOil for deep-fryingChaat masala for sprinklingBatter ¼ cup gram flour (besan)¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon red chilli powderSalt to taste1 tablespoon hot oilMethod1. Take raw bananas in a bowl and mash using a masher. Add green chillies, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, dried mango powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, fennel seed powder, asafoetida and salt and mix well. 2. Stuff the prepared mixture into each chilli. 3. Put gram flour in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, ¼ cup water and hot oil and mix well. 4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 5. Dip each stuffed chilli in the batter and deep-fry till half fried. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside to cool. Cut the pakoras into 3-4 pieces and deep-fry once again. 6.
