Definitely going to be a regular feature if you try it once.RAJGIRE KA THEPLAA healthy and a quick snack recipe using amaranth.Ingredients1½ cups amaranth (rajgira) flour + for dusting½ cup whole wheat flour1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste½ tsp turmeric powder½ tsp red chilli powder1½ tsps Tata Sampann Kasuri Methi2 tsps chopped jaggery2 tbsps chopped freshcoriander1 tsp dried mango powderSalt to taste1 tbsp oil + to drizzlePickle to serveMethod1. Take rajgira flour in a bowl, add whole wheat flour and mix well.2. Add ginger-green chilli paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Tata Sampann Kasuri Methi, jaggery, coriander leaves, dried mango powder, salt and oil.3. Add 1¼ cups water and knead to soft dough. Set aside for 30 minutes.4. Dust some rajgira flour on the surface, divide the dough into equal portions and roll into semi thick disc.5. Heat a non-stick tawa and place the disc on it. Roast on medium heat till underside is done.6. Flip and drizzle some oil and cook the other side as well. Flip again and drizzle some more oil.7.
