Rajma Chawal Chakli | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A delicious chakli recipe with the amazing flavours of Rajma Chawal.

RAJMA CHAWAL CHAKLI

Ingredients

1 cup rajma
½ cup cooked rice
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp rajma masala
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp butter
1 cup rice flour
Oil for deep-fry

Method
1. Mix together 1 cup rajma, ½ cooked rice, add little water and grind into fine paste.
2. Take a mixture in a bowl and add ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp rajma masala,1/2 tsp red chilli powder, salt, 2tbsps butter and mix well
3. Add 1cup rice flour, little water and knead into soft dough.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai
5. Put mixture in a chakli mould and make a chakli on a piece of plastic sheet.
6. Deep-fry chakli till light golden brown and crisp. drain on absorbed paper and allow it to cool down.
7. Serve and store in a airtight tins.
