Rava Toast | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A unique take on the classic toast with some semolina.
RAVA TOAST

Ingredients

100 grams semolina (rava)
Salt to taste
½ cup yogurt
1 small onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 medium green capsicum, chopped
Few red chillies, chopped
Chopped fresh coriander as required
4 white bread slices
1 tbsp butter
Grated cheese as required
White sesame seeds as required
Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

1. Add rawa, salt and yogurt in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Add onion, tomato, capsicum, red chillies and coriander. Mix well.
3. Take a white bread slice, add 1 spoonful of mixture and spread it completely on all sides.Set aside.
4. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, melt it and add a bread slice with mixture side facing up. Add cheese and white sesame seeds. Flip and cook on another side. Cook till golden brown on both the sides.
5. Transfer rawa toasts in a serving plate.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
