RAW BANANA HALWAIngredients5-6 raw bananas (kachcha kela), peeled and chopped¼ cup ghee2 cups milk1 cup sugar8-10 cashew nuts, slivered8-10 pistachios, slivered8-10 almonds, blanched, peeled and slivered¼ cup khoya¼ tsp green cardamom powderSlivered mixed nuts for garnishMethod1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add raw bananas and saute till they turn soft. Add 1 cup milk and mix well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes or till the raw bananas are cooked completely.2. Mash the mixture using a masher till soft and pulpy. Add remaining milk and sugar and mix well. Cover and cook till the sugar melts.3. Add slivered cashew nuts, slivered pistachios and blanched, peeled and slivered almonds and khoya and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. 4. Transfer into serving bowl and garnish with slivered mixed nuts. Serve warm.
