Rawa Dosa | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Rava dosa is a popular south Indian breakfast recipe prepared with semolina, rice flour, all-purpose flour with no fermentation and can be prepared instantly. Rava Dosa, is one of the top choices among South Indian food lovers. If you are looking for something light, than this is a perfect meal for you with an accompaniment of chutney and sambhar.

RAWA DOSA

Ingredients

1 cups semolina (rawa)
½ cup rice flour
¼ cup refined flour (maida)
6 cashewnuts, crushed
Salt to taste
Crushed black pepper
½ inch ginger chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Ghee to shallow fry
Green coconut chutney for serving
Sambhar for serving

Method

1. Mix together semolina, rice flour, refined flour, cashewnuts, salt, crushed black pepper, ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves along with 3 cups water to make a thin batter. Set aside for 15 minutes.
2. Heat a non-stick tawa and pour the prepared batter on it, drizzle ghee on top and cook till it turns brown and crisps.
3. Fold the dosa and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambhar.
