Serve it as an appetizer or a side dish.RAWA FRIED PRAWNSIngredients 16-20 tiger prawns, shelled and deveined ¾ cup semolina (rawa)½ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to tasteJuice of ½ lemon 1¼ teaspoons red chilli powder½ teaspoon coriander powder ½ teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder¼ teaspoon garam masala powder 1½ tablespoons ginger-garlic paste ¼ cup rice flour1½ tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnishing Oil for deep-frying Chaat masala for sprinkling Method1. Put prawns in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 35-40 minutes. 2. Mix together semolina, rice flour, salt, remaining chilli powder and coriander leaves on a plate. Coat the prawns with this mixture. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry prawns till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. 4. Garnish with coriander leaves, sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve hot with green chutney.
