You can never have enough of fried foods, and this Rice Vada is something exclusive for you to enjoy this monsoon!RICE VADAIngredients1 cup rice, soaked overnight and drained5 tbsps skinless split black gram (urad dal), soaked overnight and drained1 large tomato, chopped½ inch ginger piece4-5 garlic cloves½ lemon size tamarind ballSalt to taste3 tbsps freshly chopped coriander leaves1 medium onion, chopped¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)1-2 green chillies, chopped½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric PowderOil for deep fryingMethod1. In a blender jar, add urad dal, rice and blend to a coarse mixture. Add 3 tbsps water and blend again to smooth paste. 2. For the tomato chutney, add tomato in another blender jar. Add ginger, garlic, tamarind and a little water. Blend to a fine paste and transfer into a bowl.3. Add salt and mix, add 1 tbsp chopped coriander and mix well. Set aside.4. Take the prepared rice-urad dal mixture in another bowl. Add onion, ajwain, green chillies and remaining chopped coriander.5. Add Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, salt, and mix till well combined. Add a pinch of baking soda and mix well.6. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, drop in portions of the dough and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper. 7.
